On October 2, Gandhi Jayanti, in a heart-warming tribute to Mahatma Gandhi, Kangana Ranaut had penned down a message emphasizing on the need for "khadi revival" in India on Instagram. Her team shared a picture of Kangana who was seen using the spinning wheel (charkha). On the occasion of the 150th birth Anniversary of Gandhi, Kangana along with her industry colleagues will be launching the 'Change Within' campaign. This will be flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi today. The actress is already on her way to the capital.

Taking to her Instagram account, her team on 2nd October had posted a picture and wrote, “On #GandhiJayanti, we would like to salute our culture, our heritage and the idea that khadi revival is critical for our textile industry to see a sustainable future.” Well, on the similar lines, the Manikarnika actress will now be launching another initiative.


To mark the150th birth year of Mahatma Gandhi, the film fraternity has joined hands to put together a campaign that will aim to remind and revive the philosophy of the Mahatma. Kangana's team recently shared this news on their social media handle, captioning, “Kangana is all set to participate in the 150th birth year celebrations of Mahatma Gandhi along with the film fraternity. The fraternity has come together to remind and revive Bapu's philosophy. Ms. Ranaut will also take part in launching an initiative called Change Within. The entire campaign to be launched by honorable PM.”

Meanwhile, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Judgementall Hai Kya along with Rajkummar Rao. Speaking of which, she revealed to a leading newspaper that she is holding herself responsible for the failure of Ekta Kapoor’s movie at the box office. The actress will be next in Jayalalithaa’s Biopic, Thalaivi. Ranaut has already started prepping up for the film by going through prosthetics. She was last seen practising the Indian dance form Bharatnatyam for her upcoming biopic.


Kangana is making every effort to make her upcoming biopic a mind-blowing one. The biopic is based on former Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa and is set to release in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu languages.
